Le Grand du Nord

Le Grand du Nord is a spectacular gravel classic in the United States. Starting in downtown Grand Marais, riders quickly leave Lake Superior’s shores and enter the rugged Sawtooth Range via paved roads. Choose from three courses: a 110‑mile route with over 5,500 ft of climbing and rough two‑track sections, a 54‑mile course with 2,500 ft of climbing, or a 26‑mile option with 1,700 ft of ascent. All routes use well‑maintained Forest Service and county gravel roads. Experience beautiful scenery, remote routes, and a great start to your cycling season. See the table below for details.
